Quarantine - to Cu or not to Cu?

I feed medicated food prophylactically. The reason why is sometimes by the time you see white stringy poop, the fish has stopped eating and it's very hard to erradicate intestinal parasites if the fish is not eating.

So I have been reading your QT post and I have a couple of questions. First one is do I have to use frozen food or can I dose GC and focus in pellets or flakes? What kind of Frozen food for clown fish? Brine shrimp?

Also I only plan on using one QT tank or my wife may kick me and the fish out. How can I modify this plan only using one QT tank? Can't I run carbon and/or water changes to get rid of the copper before starting GC in the water?
