Ok. This is a table spoon. I weighed out 10grams and this is what it looks like.

Not quite leveled off but pretty close. I tried different measurements with different spoons but it was too much or too little. This is the best match up.

For reference I picked the scale up from Walmart for $30.

FYI: my gf's 11 year old walked up on me and was like.. "Ummm.. What are you doing?" Lol. I was actually using an old metro card to neaten up the pile of spectracide on the scale.. Looked bad.

That seems about right. I used 4 tbsp in one gallon of Rodi water. I have used up maybe a half gallon of the solution in probably 1 year, so a little goes a long ways. I didn't get very scientific with it or anything, I just pour a little bit in every now and then.

There is a thread where a few people have seen success. Ideally I don't want to dose this stuff long term. I mainly want to confirm that my lack of nitrates is indeed why I am seeing some of my SPS fading. I also run a mixed reef although primarily SPS and all of my LPS lack in areas that I'm sure a little nitrate would help them in.

Once confirmed I will then push towards finding a "fix" that doesn't involve me risking blowing up my tank

I don't really know where I keep me nitrates because I don't check them. Initially I hit 2ppm and after that I just dump ab little in every now and then.
