I had mine close to 2 year in my 120. It was a bit noisy when it was new, now it’s dead silent even at 90%. My new scp 120 is noisy and I hope it will settle down after a couple of weeks.i have to be honest and say i couldnt afford the high brand names and found the jebao OW-25 for 55.00,i use it on my 75 gal and i was very shocked by the outcome and power and silence of this lil thing!!i too have it on a newer set up but had to turn it down to half way because i got to much wave ,lol-for the price and working abilities(with options) i like it alot-time will tell....
I personally don’t like it because it can’t point towards the surface to create enough agitation and heard it kills fishI genuinely think Nero 5 is the best pump. I’ve had them all MP’s, Gyres, Tunzes. The Nero 5 pushes crazy flow and is dead silent.
Interesting, they can be angled. Mine creates tons of surface agitation, haven't loss a fish to em yet. maybe I'm luckyI personally don’t like it because it can’t point towards the surface to create enough agitation and heard it kills fish
If I can't run it at 100%, then why buy it? That's the way I see it.
I don’t think you can angle it toward the top of the water like a traditional powerhead.Interesting, they can be angled. Mine creates tons of surface agitation, haven't loss a fish to em yet. maybe I'm lucky
I have a z06, same theory applies! This is why I will never own a Porsche
I have 2 current Eflux 1050 on my 34 gallon at 80% wave mode. Absolutely silent.
My scp 120 is loud but the OW25 is dead silent. Getting a CP90 and see. If it’s silent, will get a pair and mount them on the back wall for my new reefer 350 set up.The newer jabeos are silent
