A long time ago maybe 1 1/2 years ago or better I contacted you looking for something, at the time you did not have what I was seeking but gave me a contact where I could get it. At this time I can not remember what it was & have had 2 computer crashes within this time so I can not go back & find it. None the less WWC site still blows my mind. Wish I was closer.

I hope you all know I have the utmost respect for many of you, which is why am taking the time to share with you my personal thoughts on things.
I agree, you guys have a great thing going on. I try to check here and a couple other forums I like. I hope it stays this way, and reminds me when I used to hang out on the MARS RC forum almost exclusivly....a tight knit group where people knew each other, relax, and joke around.
........I'd be willing to bet RC overall was just like that, and the reason so many are upset with it now.....
What happened was it just got too big.....the hobby was still new, and those more experienced didn't take on the responsibility of teaching the newbies not only how to keep a tank.....but to not to have a 'tude and not be in it just for themselves.
The hobby grew, people like.....most of us here........came from different backgrounds and sometimes cultures, making it difficult to relate to as they were there for totaly different reason than perhaps our own reasons......greed, ego, status....goes on.
So with that much tension, then on top of which you have people trying to run scams...lie....cheat about frags, the whole LE thing dividing people.......it is not suprising the Mods coudn't take the time to work out every situation.......as there was no time. I can only speculate that this is what happened because I feel I am sometimes "short" with people as I try to help them, in order to move on to the next, and is what I am doing to help make things better.
But instead of taking responsibility, and leading by example.....while still having fun.....those who should have stepped up like this........placed blame on others, or worse added to the problems in thier discontent. Understandable, we just didn't see this to realize.
One sees this attitude all over, but mods aren't to blame.....and won't be what makes R2R sucessful here.....its the members participating and caring, just like I see in this thread. You guys were asked to back off and you did......you didn't push it like we have all seen elsewhere.
There have been MANY times I wanted to tell someone to "F-off, and who did they think they were talking to?"....happens every day in fact.......but I didn't to set that example for others, and the only way this hobby won't be cut up into isolated groups.
So Im sorry, to have hijacked this....but in reality Im not, because if R2R has the same success, the people who are so comfortable and patient with one another here now.....need to be just as patient when someone else comes along and needs a little mentoring on how to act accordingly, to keep this same attitude and to instill them to pass it along......because the more people there are, the more need for those to step up........and set the tone for others.
.......if not, it will happen again and again.
Just like there, my username is dots.....as well as many other forums, because its "my" username for the hobby......not just here or anywhere else, because I know its going to follow me....no do-overs, no oops, no second chances, no hiding. This is what keeps me doing the right thing.....aka social responsibility.
I know its wordy......but you guys wouldn't have gotten it if I said it was all our faults......not the one group.....and our responsibility to fix it.
Lets work together in that?

Well said Dots. my user name is same all over. so when you see Mojo, well thats me. I just feel a little apreciated for being here rather than feeling like I am always pushing the envelope sort of speak. I can speak my mind freely and not worry if my thread will be locked because I didnt like a piece of equipment and they are a sponsor so I cant say that. well I wont ramble on but I think most of you have a clue what I am talking about.

Main reason being here is 'cuz of Rev ... he's our caretaker :angel:. Because of him we tend to stay calm and compose and not simply cuss and swear just be'cuz of some Beavis 'N Butthead!!
