So I will post pics soon. Finally relaxed. Between the drive and the first few hours I am worn out. Rusty has been exuberant to have another dog around. Not aggressive just over the top “let’s play”. Shelby went from wanting nothing to do with him to instigating him to come after her and then running to me or Kellie. She also tried to take Rusty’s food from him lol

She is indeed a handful but we love her to pieces. I have dubbed her the tiny terror lol

Frank it was beyond awesome finally meeting you in person as well as the rest of your family. Your set up is INSANE! Thank you so so much for bringing our girl home so I could come get her. We in the Montoya household are beyond thankful

im so happy things turned out as they did. Rusty didn’t know what to do at first but was super excited. Poor Shelby was afraid because it’s all new, and Rusty was over the top with trying to play. We had to spend two hours getting them used to eachother (read: get her used to his goofiness) But now he’s amazingly gentle with her and let’s her boss him around a bit. He’s even tried bringing her toys to try and get her to play. Didn’t react when she went after his food (which she’s decided is better than hers), didn’t bat an eye when she found his new bed…he is such an amazing boy. Kellie thinks he’s decided Shelby is his puppy and I have to agree. I believe he would attack anything that tried to hurt her.

its just so funny because she’s tiny but is so fierce. Totally goes after him now. Now she’s asleep on my lap as I game and Rusty is periodically checking on her but otherwise lounging on his bed chewing an antler

she was not happy being in the kennel I brought to bring her home. She was essentially yelling at me lol. As soon as I let her out she climbed on my lap and slept the entire way home.
