This is unrelated, but get a couple sheets of toilet paper and they will wipe right off. It really does work great.

This made me laugh. Are you suggesting I clean my glass with Toilet Paper?? LOL

As for removing the Lympho....any suggestions on how? I can't imagine catching the fish and then stressing him out that way!

Actually, yes, I was suggesting you use toilet paper. I'm a retired Marine, so I know the newspaper methods, and fresh water methods, so on. Toilet paper removes the salt film easily. I've found that it works heads and shoulders better than anything else. As far as treating Lymphosystis Virus this is the best information I've found.

Thank you Mike!

I know what you meant with the TP....just gave me the giggles. NORMALLY our tank isn't quite so bad. But I never thought to use TP. I will suggest it to my tank cleaner. (my 5 year old) He will be thrilled!!

As for the link. Thank you. I have done research but, like that site, I don't understand what to do exactly. Seems that I just leave him be until it resolves on it's own. The site you suggested did mention that I don't need to remove the fish as other's MAY have it.

I just want to say THANK YOU for all the help! I really appreciate it. This forum has been a tremendous help and lets me 'talk' without feeling so 'over my head' with things.

Thanks. I read through it. Not much luck as to what my Tang has. However it has spread tank wide. I have lost a clown and my blue tang this morning. They had no symptoms.

Did you look at "acclimation stress"? While it is not a disease it will cause discoloration to a fish. I'm thinking you must have ammonia and nitrite readings as well.

My Ammonia readings are 0 but the Nitrate today was 40 ppm. SO I'll do a water change tonight to try to reduce that. I've also thought about doing the Vodka treatments that I've read on the forum. But nothing right now, as i don't want to stress my fish out any more than necessary.

I feel stressed for them! I might need that Vodka treatment! I think the hardest part is the little ones not really understanding why the fish are sick. :(

My Tang died tonight. The Raccoon Butterflyfish is doing good, no longer has the cysts on him. Lets just pray that he survives what ever attacked my Tang.

Thanks for all the advice.
