I've seen some great pics and have heard some great success stories of people setting their Radions at "SPS AB+".

I have Radions G4 Pros and I can't find this to save my life. How can I set this?

I'm using a Reeflink.

Thanks!!

Go to schedule and there is a download on the bottom left select load from template. Scroll through the selections.

I don't have the g4, but here mines. Using AB+ on G3 pro

Oh, sorry. I thought you asked if AB+ schedule work or not! (Yes, it works, very well)
For your question, you can download the schedule from their website. (Google Ecotech AB+ sps schedule). The select "import" ion your ecosmart website.
After you import, adjust the intensity, time that suitable for your tank.

What intensity is everyone using on their AB± schedule g4 pro?

The SPS AB+ is already loaded on ecosmart live. Just go to schedules, under coral lab you can select AB+.

On my apex the intensity is set at 50‰ intensity. Is that about where others have theirs set?

2@ 100% over 40B corals 12" under water surface - lights 18" off top

Following...using the RMS mount which is 9" above tank. SPS dominate.

I am running 3 g4 pro over a 6' long tank 24" deep using the Rms mount as well. Anyone else running a similar size tank and lights with recommendations on intensity using AB±? There is lots of info on AB± but can't find much on the intensity using apex.

Thanks for the info Kennedpa.

No worries, That's impressive you can cover your reef like that. I used the principle from the AB+ experiment they ran with radions 24" off the tank. I cannot get good coverage over a 40B grow out with just one light. Too much shadowing. How are you pulling it off with 3 over a 6 foot using RMS? Are your corals on three islands below the lights?

Apex intensity shouldn't matter right? It's the same as intensity on ecosmart live isn't it? Not an apex user.

%power, program, coral depth, number of lights over ?size tank will help them with overall picture.

24 x 30 x 24 cube, A+B program using the reef link. I didn't add it to Apex . I run the Ecotech stuff on the reeflink, Everythibg else on the Apex. SPS are 12-13 inches from top of tank plus the 9 inches from the RMS. I have the program set on 40% which comes out to 36% actual intensity, if I remember right. Some SPS do great, others perish. It's a low nutrient tank, not on purpose, just runs that way. Currently dosing a very small diluted amount of Triton Reef .

My tank is 48x24x24
Got 3 g4 pro on rms
3 month ago i was at 30%
Im now at 50 % intensity
Y'u can raise them but slow
Of you go too fast you will burn them easy

On a 6 foot tank with 3 on rms ill start at 40% and raise it every week

Watch your coral reaction And adjust if needed but trust
Me slow or you Will stress
Your coral

Forgot to ask what you have I the tank soft lps sps ?

Thanks for the info @DHill6 More fish poop!! I had this issue for a while. I dosed potassium nitrate until I had enough fish to sustain the levels. I don't try to balance it too much. I get it to where I'm forced to skim heavy and run a fuge, my preference but thing's grow well. Stopped losing acros once I had my levels up.

I'm still learning. The lights are currently set at 40‰ AB+ and everything is doing OK. The tank has been set up for 6 months so still trying to dial things in. The coverage seems to be very adequate with no shadows. Sps are doing well in upper 1/3 of tank with so so color and a little growth. Have LPS on bottom of tank looking great. I bumped my intensity up to 50% after everything got settled in and started to get bleaching right away. So went back to 40‰. I'd like to find someone with a similar set up that I could copy without having to experiment and learning the hard way. Any comments and advice are welcome. A screen shot of someone's apex settings with g4 pro would be welcome as well.

You won't be able to blast them without nutrient levels. They'll be extra sensitive to light in low nutrient systems, my experience. Mine get blasted with light and flow, but I couldn't do that until I had higher nutrients. Killed quite a few. Now I also have to be careful with new frags for the first week or so, I'll put them under the egg crate in my grow-out tank until they've acclimated.

I would expect you to be around 70%+ with that depth of corals
