Just wondering if my bta looks happy and healthy, or does this look like its reaching a lot? Never had good luck with the few I've had. Any opinions matter. Lol. And clowns are swimming in it all day. When it's probably to small for them. Also, how fast do they grow if doing good? And should I feed it? I hear a lot of back and forth with feeding.

Once a week to feed them? An what do you recommend a small one?
I’d pick a day I like to do Friday’s but with being small put frozen mysis in a cup stir with tank water and a turkey baster and very little pieces slowly feed not to much though since it’s still small so your clowns feed the bta?

I hope mine eventually looks like this.. not sure if he'll just move to a better location, or about feeding it. Do you feed yours?
He will certainly locate what’s best for him in terms of light and flow requirements, nothing needed from you.

Feed, sure, not required but OK. I never feed more than once a month, small fingernail size piece of shrimp.

Feeding will enhance growth and may cause it to split.

You can keep him growing and happy with consistent light and stable water chemistry……that being the only requirement.

The one in the pick was the same size as yours 2 years ago.

Thank you. I really appreciate the advice! I'll have to feed him a bit here an there an maybe get it to grow a bit. Buy I'm not really sure if my clowns are feeding him or not, but I know they are both swimming and laying him constantly. I just hope it doesn't get to bothered because it's quite a bit smaller then the clowns.

I'm not sure if the clowns are feeding them, but they do swim and laying in it constantly. I'll start feeding it just a tiny bit to not overdo it if they are feeding it. I've had it for like 2 months maybe and haven't fed it at all.

Are your clowns trying to be hosted by your nem? They may be loving it a little too much.

I'm pretty sure they are. Never had them take to one so fast. They took to it the first day I put it in, it moves around a little to the left and right but not really that far at all. I'm thinking because the size of it, they may be loving it a little to much. I hope it does okay, though.
