Wow beautiful fish everyone!!! Not that rare, but I haven't seen one in a LFS in a long my time! My Passer Angel! My favorite fish! I always loved the Clarion, but didn't want to spend the cash on one, so too me the Passer is a close second. Great personality too! I had my LFS special order him for me.

Apparently this guy is rare. Japanese golden hawkfish. He's interesting to watch feeding time.

Mind you, I don't know if he's rare. But I can only find one place selling him online, and it's almost 500 bucks..so I don't know

I will have one. Just seams every time I get enough saved that there are so many other things that take priority. The pandemic also delayed me since the price of them went even higher for a while.

That is awesome. On Reef Builders there’s a Japanese hobbyist who keeps exclusively deep water species that are pretty much never seen in the West. Deepwater Anthias, hogfishes, wrasses, basslets, Tattooed Jawfish etc.

In my part of the world (China) a Royal Gramma would be considered borderline uncommon.
