Awesome, that must be so fun! Where did you collect them?

On the beach texas coast. We have sargassum that washes up and these are some of the shrimp. I had more pictures but my phone crapped out. There were about 15 species. The macro washes up in clumps and the shrimp flop on the sand, so it is either me or the seagull next to me.

Periclimenes brevicarpalis is about as "rare" as I've got 'round here. I've got one living on my maxi-mini carpet anemones (who chased my group of sexy shrimp out of said anemones) and one living in a LTA. The LTA doesn't like it much, and spends some time every day retracted into the sand to escape the shrimp. Photo below is of the one who's now in the LTA, before she moved in there.
