I used to do that when I was down there in the 70's. Lots of critters in those things. I used a bucket to scoop under the sargassum and then shook it. Sagassum nudibranchs in there too and some small crabs that had the same coloration. On the beach texas coast. We have sargassum that washes up and these are some of the shrimp. I had more pictures but my phone crapped out. There were about 15 species. The macro washes up in clumps and the shrimp flop on the sand, so it is either me or the seagull next to me.
Have yall had success keeping them in a reef tank?I used to do that when I was down there in the 70's. Lots of critters in those things. I used a bucket to scoop under the sargassum and then shook it. Sagassum nudibranchs in there too and some small crabs that had the same coloration.
Not too rare but I like them.

You gotta admit, though ... they're rarely _seen_!
(At least . . . I rarely see mine!)
Blue CBS are absolutely gorgeous though - I'm considering to add another one or two to my tank, in hopes of a pair forming.

same, I'm just here for the inverts. I feel like the only one here with an invert-only tank...I see them in my 30 fairly often but mostly at night. They're not aggressive toward anybody and I keep them with a harlequin, cleaners and peppermints. I absolutely love my inverts. Luckily at WWC I get to see a lot of rare stuff.
You should definitely add them!
