The crushed coral is fine, but you probably should have a reverse flow reactor and be prepared for a few more clogs - that is all that we had before ARM got medium and large size. It will work just fine and is really easy to melt. I will pay a bit more for the larger size since I have had less clogs and stuff since it came out.
