Recommend a GLASS cube manufacturer

I am going to get a cube tank in the 100g to 150g range. Any recommendations for a manufacturer. I want something nice and sleek looking. Basically ART!

Marineland has some nice cubes,those are art A+ stuff,now Glass Cages has some cube tanks,they are nice,not art,but a solid B for sure!

sloppy silicone, coulda been smoother, but honestly if people are noticing your seams more than your corals your doing something wrong.

rev - try Miracles up here in Canada. For an ELOS look you - just request BEVELED edges and black silicone. Beveling glass does increase the cost but it looks pretty slick. You can probably build one yourself and just order the glass from glasscages. They sell unfinished plate glass for $6.00/sqft. If cost is an issue i would stick with regular glass (not starphire) - many of the really nice elos tanks arent starphire from the looks of it (just the newer models).

The base will need to be TWO pieces of glass siliconed together, with the top piece being smaller by the thickness of the glass all the way around. so lets say your base is 12"x12" and you wanted 1/2" glass. The bottom piece of the base would be 12"x12", while the piece that sits on the bottom would be 11"x11" and centered and siliconed. This creates a hidden euro brace.

another vote for ReefSavvy. Local to me and everything I've seen him build has been extremely nice. i've got about 3 friends with tanks from him. As soon as I can afford it, I'm having him build me a cube to replace my 29. Need a little more front to back space!

I agree rev you can't go wrong with a reef savvy tank i have seen a bunch of his work, and imho it is great. The owner also provides great customer service. I personally will have them build my cube once i move into my new place. Good luck with your decision rev. :smile:

I have really liked what I've had and seen from AGE and Miracles. Both top of the line custom manufacturers. Although the people posting about Reef Saavy would make me interested in those too

For a stand like an ELOS you could check with a local furniture builder - I've seen a couple ELOS "look alike" stands that looked better honestly! ELOS doesn't make canopys, maybe a one off custom but that would be stupid expensive.

Reef savvy gets my vote,they are built very nice almost ad nice as an elos.I have seen a few of the reef savvy tanks in person and they look really nice.
