Just get an Elos tank Rev!!!! Nothing better than the original! I always tell myself that!

I own an elos mini and if I go bigger I'm getting a reef savvy.for the money you really can't beat them.the RS tanks IMO are literally elos quality.beveled polished edges, choice of silicone, starphire glass, and neat clean silicone work.what more could you want?I will say the RS tanks are not cheap in price but they aren't elos expensive either.just my 10 cents :)

I agree I have seen their work also it is very nice, but to get the elos furniture.

If you get an Elos tank, do not buy the stand. It's made out of cheap mdf and turns into crap if/when it gets wet. Ask me how I know? Also, do not get the sump as it is too small. If your set on an Elos, I would buy the tank only as it is high quality.

rev - get some 3/4 engineered plywood and mitre all the corners and put that bad boy together on your own. Because its painted you can fix the imperfections with wood filler and some creative sanding. The front piece just needs to be hung with euro hinges (newer style kitchen cabinet hinges) and you are good to go. Take the panels to a furniture sprayer if you want a super sleek finish.

All you need is a table saw with a good blade and large enough fence and a extra hand or two. take your time and should be golden. ELOS is nice but there is NOTHING they do that justifies their price. yeah they bevel edges and do all this fancy detail work but if you work closely with any builder they should do the same for you. plus shipping anything in from italy is just expensive. Reach out to your "flock" - everyone knows somebody who woodworks as a hobby. Check Kijiji too.
