Recommendations on DC pumps not controlled by outside controller.

I am done with things that have to have my phone to be controlled. Looking to replace Vectras.
So you are OK with a small control box?

If so, I am now using 6 total Simplicity DC pumps on some of my systems. They are a tad higher in price vs a comparable Jebao, but have US based support and a 3 year warranty.

Oldest is 6 years at this point and still chugging along just fine. (Just had to go and say that lol).

In regards to their support, it is lifetime and they have been good to me so far. Was cleaning my 1600 I have on my frag tank, dropped the impeller while walking, stepped on it and broke it. Called them to order a replacement and they just sent me one for free. It was snail mail, but I am not complaining.

Yes, absolutely. Just tired of manufacturers trying to connect everything to phones.

Are these the pumps you are refering to?

LOL ... my kind of pump.

Bonus.

Thank you so much @Eagle_Steve for the recommendation.

Current USA DC pumps are great. Very quiet and cheap. They use a knob controller. I use one on my tank.
Are these the EFlux pumps?

They are.

Currently using them on
45g custom frag with about 6' total head,
7' nem tank with about 5' total head,
7' mangrove/macro lagoon with about 9' total head,
180 with about 9' total head
40b coral QT with 4-5' total head
macro QT 90 with only about 3' total head.

None are turned all the way up, as they are all oversized for the systems.

To show you actual size to some things you are probably familiar with.

From the 2 tanks in the fish barn that share the same sump. Ignore the dead corals. Those are stags I trimmed and fed to the starfish in the sump. Couldnt give it all away and general stars needed to eat lol. They will also be recycled into the calcium reactor when it needs to be reloaded lol.

For size reference, the sump is 100g rubbermaid tub, those are simplicity dc 3200 pumps and the skimmer is a reef octo 200 int.

Love my Sicce. Has an app but you don't have to use it. Controller box is the size of an iPhone. Can't beat the warranty, 5 years.
How long have you been running yours?

Does running it controller only mode limit what you can do with the pump?

Is it bluetooth?
