So you are OK with a small control box?I am done with things that have to have my phone to be controlled. Looking to replace Vectras.
Yes, absolutely. Just tired of manufacturers trying to connect everything to phones. So you are OK with a small control box?
Are these the pumps you are refering to?If so, I am now using 6 total Simplicity DC pumps on some of my systems.
LOL ... my kind of pump.Oldest is 6 years at this point and still chugging along just fine. (Just had to go and say that lol).
Bonus. In regards to their support, it is lifetime and they have been good to me so far. Was cleaning my 1600 I have on my frag tank, dropped the impeller while walking, stepped on it and broke it. Called them to order a replacement and they just sent me one for free. It was snail mail, but I am not complaining.
Are these the EFlux pumps?Current USA DC pumps are great. Very quiet and cheap. They use a knob controller. I use one on my tank.
Are these the EFlux pumps?

Thank you so much @Eagle_Steve for the recommendation.
Mhmmm ... for the starfish ...Ignore the dead corals. Those are stags I trimmed and fed to the starfish in the sump.

How long have they been on your system?I use the octopus VarioS. They work well and just have a small box.
Kewl. Thank you, for the recommendation.Simplicity, avail on saltwateraquarium.com
How long have you been running yours?Love my Sicce. Has an app but you don't have to use it. Controller box is the size of an iPhone. Can't beat the warranty, 5 years.
Kewl. Thank you, for the recommendation.
Will not be buying from that company though. They are on my blacklist.
Abyzz, Red Dragon and Varios get my vote. If it fits the budget, Abyzz hands down.I am done with things that have to have my phone to be controlled. Looking to replace Vectras.
Couple years. Haven't had to service it yet. I have the SDC 9.0 in a basement sump pumping up a floor and about 8 feet over to 8 outputs running at 85%. It's WiFi. Here's some info on the pump, app and controller:How long have you been running yours?
Does running it controller only mode limit what you can do with the pump?
Is it bluetooth?
