I was hoping you can identify this algae that just popped up over night. I pulled the rock out and hit it with a toothbrush but it wouldn't come off.

The red stuff? Looks like coralline algae. It calcifies and is hard as rock. Good one. Sign of a maturing tank.
+1 vote coralline

piggybacking on @gentlefish - this is also sign IF you wanted corals, you could add as now your tank is ready and healthy to grow corals

Thanks guys. I also have the light pink coralline algae growing in that tank. I don't know if this is true or not but after coralline starts growing I hear you tank can support other corals besides softies do you know if that's true? (depending on the lighting of course)

As Fish Think Pink pointed out, you can try with the easy ones. Duncan, Stylopora, Birdnest or so, you will likely want to be able to test and dose calcium, alkalinity and magnesium in the future, and for now rely on water changes.

I do 3-4 gallon water changes. I was doing them weekly but as life kicks me right in the face, I do get to it twice a month. I dose 1ml vibrant twice a week, feed with reefroids once a week. I also use All Seas Marine Replenisher, once I put this in my tank the coralline started showing up. I have a stock Evo 13.5 tank, no skimmer do you think a duncan would do good with that light?

Not completely sold on it being coraline. Does it come off easily?
