Red Hadoni deteriorating !?

Moved Carpet to another side of the reef, he was crawling up the rocks with his foot over my bubbles..
Was very gentle, hes already attached to the other side..Mouth closed, he was moving towards higher light, verified with the Seneye.
Hes now attached to a rock In the back corner of my system. Which Is directly under the 160w T5s, an getting good light spread from the combined 140w of LED action.

I know Its not relevant but im at exactly 2wpg rn..

Not sure what signs are for needing Cipro ? His foot is def In good shape. Still sticky, must stress..
But If ther are no side effects, trying It would only be wise..

I will say though, this Is two cases of pretty Haddonis liking lower light..
Thans was under 50PAR flourecents
Willi your Red Haddoni seems to be in the dimmer are of the reef by how you described the orientation, not sure though..

Cant say If It was burned though, cause he was actively seeking higher PAR. I would guess his goal was to get to where the bubble Is, which the bubble sits at very high PAR..

o_O:confused:

Correct. They are in the back corner of the tank.

Raised the light again last night.
Total light for led & flourcent sits at 400w.

That’s 2.6wpg. The Haddoni is now getting 290-330 PAR. This is the max my lights with go! Will updated in a few days to seee how it plays out.

I don't know what do do this Is heartbreaking..
I am willing to do anything at this point. Cipro ? 10G acclimation tank ?

I tried and researched everything, half the crap I read conflicts...

Taylor T knows what he's talking about. You're definitely at the point of needing an emergency QT, it might be too late though. There's probably less than two dozen people active that you should even listen to (Taylor being one of them) when it comes to anemones, don't even bother with Google, you'll be doing circles with all of the dated information.

You can get Cipro as Fish Flox on eBay (should've already purchased it), be sure to get the 250mg version since you're using a 10g.

What type of sand are you using? Some reefers have had issues using black sand due to some having silicates and or metals within it.

Use A siphon to suck out all the decay. You won’t get it out in one piece at this stage.

What do y'all think went wrong, an when ?
All my other anemones showed no signs of infection..Tube, Maxi, Orange-Ball..
None of the sensitive Corals showed negative responses to light..Even as I carefully adjusted.

At the store he seemed healthy.
At my house he acted healthy, but looked OFF, for almost 2 months.
Always an open mouth, polyps always looked shrunk, base way always a strange grey..

Basic Reef chemistry was always great..

Seriously wtheck. My dream reef creature Is gone, an I am not sure If I learned anything about him to even consider trying again...

Very depressing..

Only thing I missed was treating him with the Antibiotics, that sadly, are In transit.
Would It be an utter waste of time to put him In the 10G I got setup ? Wish these things spawned like mushrooms.

Is he still alive to put him in the 10. Do you have cipro on deck? Again I'm sorry for your loss, wish you would have gotten better advice beforehand but it is what it is my friend. Unfortunately with these animals they always need treatment unless already established in someone's tank for a while.
Quick question how old is the tank.
