Red Sea Peninsula 650L Build Thread

I love your aquascape
Thanks! I wanted to add a bit more but ran out of rock. I might someday but I tried putting fast growing sps in places where I want it to fill in.

Moved all of my rubble to the back section of the sump and put a 1000 Gph Circulation pump in the fuge side to stir the algae like mad. Also did my water change on all my tanks this weekend. Have a video I'll be trying to get up soon. Doesnt show the sump or equipment yet though.

Anemone split this weekend so I've already sold that to a buddy. For a minute there I had 5 nems. now back to 4... still too many haha. My green one doesn't ever seem happy and the "rainbow" has begun to walk around. Also the green one stung the heck out of a montipora and killed it. Luckily before It completely killed it I fragged off as much as possible and relocated the frags. Heres the latest video of my tank if anyone is interested. I was able to take a shot of some of the corals up close, show the whole tank and even a quick glimpse of the lights. I made a custom hanging canopy and put two 60" T5 retrofits and also hung in the center a Aquasanrise R120. Feel free to ask questions here or the youtube video.

Think my anemone is splitting AGAIN second time in one week. I'm thinking he doesnt like the flow.

Sold two nems so far and have decided bubble tips just wont be happy in this tank due to the flow (I suspect at least) so I'm working on selling out the rest. Will get an update out soon.

Working on getting all of those nems out of there. Added some rocks from another tank thats being broken down, sold two nems and cleared out an orange clown out of another tank to make room for my other pair of clowns into that tank. Was a busy weekend but well worth it. I have one less tank to maintain now. I'll miss laying in bed and watching it while my wife watched some crap show though... But wont miss the maintenance and lugging buckets up two flights of stairs for water changes. I'll get an update going soon.

Got an underwater camera testing out here. Will try to get more in the near future.

Waterchange day. Been religiously doing 30-40% every other week and the corals have really responded positively. Will try to get a video with some decent quality and shots of the corals this weekend to post.

Heres the update. A bit better quality than that last one.

Nice looking tank and following along! Looking forward to watching you fill it with live stock.

I’ve got the Max S 650 and the ATO in that had the same issue so I had to connect a small hose to the inlet and ‘blow’ through it as instructed by my Samaritan on speed dial at Red Sea. Worked a treat actually and cleared immediately. I’ve actually now got Tunze hooked up as ATO with a large RO reservoir so the inbuilt one now acts as backup.
This was great advice, I do this every time I fill the ATO now and have not had a clog since.

Alright, we're about 1 year in now.
Showing how I mix my water and do water changes. Think everything is finally settled. Haven't changed a whole lot in a while. Its amazing to see some of the growth if you watch an earlier video and then this one. Some corals have really exploded! Enjoy!
