It all depends on what coral you have but with that size tank a small powerhead will work fine. As far as feeding once a day is fine ,you want fish to consume food within 2-3 minutes and food should never hit the bottom. Fish are pigs and they will eat untill they pop. They don't need much food. With that size tank your nutrients can build up quick so be stingy with the food. That also applies to feeding corals.
We have an unknown chalice, a Jason fox sunset montipora, a birds nest, couple of different mushrooms, we have 3 different zoas, including eagle eye...we have 2 anemones, one small frogspawn, a leather, 2 clownfish, a green chromis, and a pj cardinal....along with a cleanup crew......
