Hey everyone!! I haven’t been on here for so long so if I put this under the wrong thread I apologize! Anyway here’s my question.. I just got back into the hobby and purchased a RedSea 90LED off of my buddy. I’m using this light on a fairly small reef tank. Here’s the issue, I just ordered a 25 Gallon lagoon tank from innovative marine, will this light be enough? I plan on doing a mixed reef and eventually would like to try acros. Or would I be better off running 2 of these Rs90?

It would be a borderline solution where the middle 18” is probably fine for anything but the 3” on each side not for SPS. It can be tough with a single point source light like that as shadows will be greater than with 2 or more lights.

Would 2 light be overkill?

Another option might be to supplement with a t5 hybrid fixture. It's what I did on my reefer 170. Is a 4 bulb hybrid with a single radion xr15 20220807_174000.jpg
