I spot feed once a week with reef roids(just started doing this a few weeks ago after watching the vid posted on the first page), and one other day a week I mix some PE Mysis, reef chili, and some LRS and broadcast feed the entire tank.

I do get a better feeding response when I feed roids, but I wonder if it's just because I'm spot feeding and not broadcast feeding?

I feed reef roids daily. Iv never used reef chili, it might be great but I heard good things about roids so went with that.

I have used both and always had algae issues if I used it frequently. I started using BeneReef a couple months ago and love it so far. I can feed two or three times a week without increasing phosphate or nitrate. I will say Reef Roids seemed to get a better feeding response than Reef Chili or BeneReef.

I tried benereef but during that period my nutrients bottomed out (you're also dosing bacteria with benereef) so I went back to reef roids. As mentioned above I feed reef roids once early in the day. And I also feed rods food later in the day. My corals are happier than ever.

Reef roids does wonders but you have to be careful can cause algae if you over feed

I see people say that about reef roids and yet I couldn't even raise po4 intentionally using just it alone.

Yeah I too had algae problems with reef roids. Maybe I will try again.

I use my fish to feed my corals :)
