On my slanted means tilted not straight.. Might come like this out of the box. Where mine are located I'd have to remove them to get a photo.Look at it like this take a quarter and lay it flat now take a nickel and put under it and that what it looks like. Not straight.

Not sure what you mean by slanted?

Rick

My light arrived this morning. I got it programmed, hung, and I have to say... I LOVE IT!! Thank you Rick and Tara. Your product and customer service are both amazing. I couldn't be more pleased.

Bradd

Cool Bradd, even though I don't have my reef together, I can't wait to get mine and light it up and play around with the controller.

I love the options the Evergrow IT2040 has. It makes it so much easier to keep the lighting schedule set without having to add a timer or a controller system.

Mine has been on for 3 days and I have to say they are really growing on me. Missed the shimmer from my kellils, but these light are looking better and better each day..

I have a 75 gallon 4 foot tank.. I only had two of the kessil a150w and would need 2 more for corals. I started researching them and like what Rick and Rara was selling so I took a shot. Was not happy at all at first and was thinking about selling them, but after speeding 5 hours rigging them in my canopy I decided ti give them a change and they are growing on my. Kessil make some great lights, but no dimmer on the 150. I like the fact with the TT I can control the brightness.

That is the position I'm in with my 75g. After a lot od research, I also just bought from Rick.

The knob on mine is slightly off angle (not perpendicular to the box). However, it works fine. I am too busy loving the way my corals look to bother about the knob.

I've just oredered 2 of the updated 155e,and I'm toldI should see them in a week or so.I felt good buying them, since I know a couple that have some on a 125,and I've seen first hand what it did with some acros in the matter of a couple months.Reading this, and talking with other folks made me feel even better about it.I'll be replacing 2 175w mh,and 2 54w t5 with these fixtures over a 55gl mixed reef.I plan to gut the old lights, and fans from my canopy, and then cut 2 holes in the top,and mount the lights on top of the canopy, and this will put them about 8-10" from the water.I'm so stoked about this,I never thought I'd go away from mh/t5,but I feel giddy inside waiting on these things, and feel very confident in the lights, and company.I'm a picture posting fool,so please believe that I'll be posting some before, and after pics when this thing goes down in a few days.

Hi
Robb - on most of our lights you can unscrew the knob and remount it.

Can you do this with yours?

Rick

Hey guys - I just realized that we are at almost 400 posts on one thread! Amazing!

I just decided to have a contest. For the person who sends in post #4XX (some number between 400 and 500 ) I am going to send them a brand new Jebao Wavemaker - any model they want! Just post something about you experience with me or the company or the product you bought from us and how it is working for you and your tank/fish/coral/wife/husband - or whatever - and be the exact number post - and you will wind a free Jebao Wavemaker. I just sent David H. - the owner of R2R the exact number that I am going to use to give this away so all you have to do is post your experience with us at Reef Radiance and if you hit the number - we will ship you a Brand New Jebao Wavemaker!!

Go for it!

Rick

My experiences with rick have been informative and pleasant, I called and left a message to order my lights and my call was returned in less than an hour. we talked for a while about our experiences in the hobby and such. apparently I sound like a friend of his vocally. Ricks super easy to talk to and interesting, we got my lights and pump preordered and paid for with ease. after getting a jabeo wp-10 from a different source... meaning no warrantee like the ones rick is selling ... I decided I needed the next size up... my order was changed via rick from a wp-10 to a wp-25 with just an email. Everything has been super easy and not to mention not super painful on the wallet. Ricks prices are very reasonable in comparison with comparable units. I don't have any first hand experience with the lights just yet but I understand they are very near to being shipped. and I am super excited to upgrade my 40b in both lighting and water movement. cant wait pix on my build will be on my thread https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/member-tanks/144484-bs-40-breeder.html will be posted shortly after I receive them. thanks for your time. I'll be#400! I ordered a Lumentek 120 and a few Jebaos on Christmas Day, and Rick was right there answering my email! I was so impressed with dealing with him that I ordered a 132 this week for a frag tank. Great company to deal with!
