Reef Radiance led light..OMG..What a light....

I got mine... They work, but have to figure out how to hang them in my canopy.. Any ideas?

I gotta say I posted on my local reef forum and its crickets in there.compared to you guys !

I as well have had nothing but a great experience talking with Rick through emails and I've decided to place an order for three of the D 155 E

talk about a no brainer when I was on the fence regarding purchasing a similar product, and I'm not going to say any names but we all know who. I decided to go with Rick his customer service and his warranty blows everyone else out of the water

This is what I did.

twelvefive, do me and you a big favor and turn those hooks 180 degrees, so that the wires cannot slip up and dump your light in the tank, that's an otherwise awesome set up

they are not controllable that way, you can use a controller or timers to turn them on and off but dimming is done manually, if you want automatic dimming for sunrise/sunset effect, you'll need to go with the Lumentek Pro or the EverGrow lights as those have the built in controllers

Received my Lumentek Pro 180 about a week ago, finally got it hung. Still need to setup the sunrise/sunset. It takes quite a while when done in the available 10 minute increments. Awesome light though, would definitely order from them again when I upsize tanks.

I got my notification email from Tara that might light is being shipped to them and should be there this week. I can't wait to get mine. I ordered the Evergrow so I could have the built in controller. Can't wait to see how it looks on my tank.

I've tested hitting it pretty solidly and they aren't going anywhere without enouhg force to physically lift the lights half an inch or more.

That was my thought as well.

PS - one of the reefers in my area is using a reef angel to control his DM lights

as long as it don't get bumped very hard it will likely never fall but there is always that one time, if you turn those hooks around, the wire would have to break or the hook beak before it would fall....and just to be honest, I've never heard of those wires breaking but I don't fully 100% trust them either, but I still use 'em on mine too

Here are my 155's. I really dig them. I still call up Rick every few weeks and chat. He loves the hobby and has given me some great advice.
