Has anyone got their refugium light yet?

You know, I don't even know if this is an actual policy or if it's just a rumor. I waited over 30 days for my light and I never heard anything about refugium lights.

Hello everyone.

Even though our website says 2- 4 weeks and say that occasionally we will go beyond that ( on the lumentek line ) i decided that if any customer waited more than 4 weeks from date of sale to receipt - they would get a free dm-5e refugium light. So if you did wait longer than this and you have received your lumentek light - you will receive your free dm-5e from fedex. When it ships - you will receive an email from us telling you that it is on its way and a fedex tracking number so you can track your free light to you!

i ordered my evergrow it2040 from rick on february 6th, and am still waiting! But there's a reason.....

I recieved my light about 2 weeks ago, and had to send it back because it was the wrong layout! So, i am waiting on the next shipment of those to come in before i get it. But, i must say that rick and his company have been great from the beginning! I had some issues with fedex when i recieved my first tracking number, and rick went out of his way to help me out! Fedex was having issues allowing me to hold the package at their facility, so someone at rr personally drove back to fedex to deliver a new shipper so they could reroute the package to my new address (i moved since making the purchase)!

So, after i got the package and found out it was the wrong one, i called rick on his cell phone (he had previously called me about the fedex ordeal), and he actually put his wife on hold to speak with me for a few moments about the wrong light!! Needless to say, he was pretty distraught himself, and immediatly placed a change order with the manufacturer for another light!

As disappointed as i am about waiting still, i must say that i have been extremely impressed with the way rick has handled everything. He even offered me a substantial discount on a future prurchase! I definitely plan on using that, and chalk up this mistake to the fact that he must be really busy down there! Thanks for the great service!

Oh yeah, any chance the evergrows will be in soon rick?

hi keith and thanks for the kind words.. Good news - your light just left china. I am on the road but will try to send you a tracking number when i get it - i expect your light in my hands around the end of next week and will make sure it is the right layout - including the custom work - and will ship it right out!

Well with all the good coming out of this and all the research he has another customer now just to pick one I like the 240 but it may be too much sent an email to find out. I want programming so for my tank 29 g its 36 w 12l and 14deep just waiting for an answer from rick

i just re-read your posts and you have two widths for your tank - 36 and 30 inches. We are moving to california as i write this - they filled the moving truck ( 55 feet long ) with somany boxes they had to skip the customer who was supposed to ship behind us - i think i have waaaaaay too many samples sitting around - maybe i should have a sample sale! I would suggest the 180. The 180 would cost you less and wih our new and unique 120 degree optics around the outer row - the 180 would be fine - no matter what you grow. Now if it is 36 inches - you could use the 240 but- i would still go with the 180 and save the bucks - it will kick *** on this tank!

Later on in this thread i will talk about why we are moving to california - besides being home - our office will be next to silicon valley where some of the best engineers in the world hang out and i am planning on getting just a little crazy with future products. We will post as we roll them out and will have a very crazy sale to celebrate our move!

Thanks I think I will get the 180 ordered up but looking the 240 is listed at $289 and the 180 is $319 ??? so how am I saving bucks? my tank sorry for the issue with size it is 30x12x18 I was using the current light size my bad
