blue 60 white 20 at this point they ar abot 8 inch high. i plan to make a mount for them and since i have the stuff all ready i am going to add 2 tubes of led front and back of these panels.I bought all these led and driverers several years ago and never set them up. well really this light doesnt need it but i have them so i figure i will set it up to ramp up then timer the dn155 on and so forth may also add a couple T5 remember my tank is 36" front to back . I had a 400 watt metal halide 20K radium with a luminarc reflector . So far I give this light a Thumbs up

My corals are all doing very well with my lumentek. Everything from sps to zoas and acans are thriving.

Sand bed varied from 150-200 underneath fixture. Corners of tank at the sand were quite low at 75 and under. Perfect for acans and low light zoas.

I ordered 2 dm155e's on sat 4/19 received them yesterday. Fantastic lights well constructed. Currently running my @ 50% whites and 30% blues. They are hanging 10 inches off the water of my 75 gallon tank. I'm very impressed with the quick turn around. My tank looks awesome. Thx rick!

I just bought a 75 gallon and will be putting pictures of it with two of the DM-155e over it.

I love this tank size - it is not too big to fit in smaller areas - but at 18 inches front to back - you can do some serious aquascaping.

Send me pictures of your tank - I would love to see it.

I find that occasionally, maybe 2-3 times a week, my Lumentek 120 will spontaneously switch out of custom mode into "sunny" mode for no apparent reason.

That's happened to me as well. Kind of disappointing as I don't want to deal with the hassle of sending the light back. Hasn't done it for a while and Rick has been very responsive about it, but still...

I have not had that happen yet, but it could be a major problem for me if it happened and I was not around. I have my "Sunny" setting cranked pretty high and use it when I am taking pictures. If I was out of town I would probably notice when I logged into my Apex, but still.

I have had it happened too! At the tank at work and the one at home. I don't know why it's happened but not often. I have the sunny setting at 50%.

Well it did it again. My light came on this morning as usual in custom mode, and when I got home from work it was in Sunny mode.

The last thing I want to do is send the light back. I have no other light, and it sounds like the same problem is happening to others.

I don't know if I can explain, but I'll try.

I had the same issue. It may be that you're leaving the display in the "sunny mode", which you don't want. Once you have the "custom setting" set, leave it.
What ever show's up on the display, that's the mode/cycle,....it will be in. Try it and let me know.

I put mine in custom mode and hit the left arrow button on the remote to turn off the display and I have never had an issue with the light changing mode. My only issue is the time is fast but I change it about every 4 weeks or so. No problem for me.

I don't know about deliberately changing out of custom mode in the display and leaving it there, that would be more obvious. What I have learned is that the display panel is very sensitive to touch, sometimes just touching it lightly will change the mode, maybe a fish splashing water on it, I don't know? However touching the on/off button lightly would put you first in manual mode and touching again would put you in sunny mode. So again I don't know? It doesn't happen that often with me though. Make sure not to touch the display during feeding, maintenance, etc.

The switching to sunny mode is a little scary to me. Since I got this light I have put more money in SPS in my tank than I paid for the light. If my light goes full sunny mode while I am out of town this weekend it would be bad.

Do you guys that have had this happen think you may be getting interference from a different remote control?

I bought the dm 155 to put over my 60gl hex replacing my 250MH after 5 weeks put the halide back up was not impressed with performance all corals looked pale in color the day I started led 3 days of halides and colors improving I personally wouldn't recommend this light was so looking forward to switch over based on all good things said about this brand but not a fan

What schedule did you use to acclimate your corals to the leds?
