Does anyone else run the reef radiance starfires? If so, at what power do you run your lights? I run my whites at 50% and my blues at 65% and I feel like my corals are getting to much light. I need a pat meter, but was hoping someone ran them to give me an idea of where they are at.

I have the 165p reef radiance an run mine 25% white 75% blue any higher the coral near top seem to get to much more sensitive corals are lower in tank and I have a 30 inch+ deep tank

I've got mine hanging probably 10 inches off the tank and I believe a 2 ft tank. I'm at 50% whites and 75-80 blue. It seems like the more blue they add, the better they look. I have a bubble tip anemone about 2/3 the way up, he looks good, but doesn't bubble his tips all the time. My zoas do better in the bottom third of the tank as well.

I have two star fire Genesis on a 48" tank 24" deep tank hanging about 6-8" above water and run mine 15%white and 40% blue and 40% royal blue everything seems happy.

It seems incredibly low, but maybe I should turn mine down a bit more?

I tried turning mine up alittle more awhile back and had some gsp and couple other corals close up for a day or two until I turned them back down then the corals opened right up. Eyes certainly aren't the best judge but I guess if it's all ya have to work with its best to let the corals tell you.

I have a birdsnest coral, it is bleaching, but the polyps are still coming out. It's about 2/3's up, would you guess lights are to bright?

These are very strong lights. I'd definatly turn them down. Rick from reef radiance use to pop on here every once in awhile but I think theyre no longer a sponsor here so he may not.

Leave blues where they are turn down whites to 30% you will soon see improvement . Might even be able to turn blues up to 70%

I have a birds nest and its one of the first to tell when lights are to strong

I've seemed to notice they do really good under just the midnight blues too. I'll turn my whites down tomorrow and see what happens over the next week.

Also, have you ever had any problems with them not connecting together. Only one will connect and then I have to quit the app and keep trying until I get the other one to show up. And my non master light will start before its scheduled to about every third day and I have to reset the time and program to get it to go back.

I have only one 165p and two of the 165m the two are not programmable have know trouble with the 165p program

Give me a few hours and after work I can walk you thru reprogramming them I had this same problem for a while then finally got a call from reef radiance and spoke to both Rick and Charles and Charles walked me through setup in 5 seconds I was ready to go.

When you open your app do you have both string of numbers you can check mark?

Actually I can walk you thru it now if that would help.

Programming reef lights to sync together and show both wifi numbers.

Turn on the light you want to make the slave and turn off the other light. Now connect to the slave lights wifi and open the app. Connect to the light within the app and select ap then sta "spa=slave" then hit modified to complete. This makes the light work as the slave.

Now swipe away the wifi and app page on your phone.

Now turn off slave light and turn on the other "master" light. Connect to its wifi and open the app connect to the light and both string of numbers should show up. Use the masters wifi to control the lights.
