i recently acquired this beauty and was wondering what kind of lighting and flow conditions it likes to bring out the blue and orange in it. :)

so placement and other details .. a pic would be much appreciated if you can ..

thanks again

High light/flow. Both my SC OP and RR OP love to be blasted with light and flow. I will try and get a pic for you tonight.

A pic of yours would be helpful as well :) is yours from a growth tip?

Orange comes from age, blue comes from tips and growth

i actually acquired a big piece :) and the sellers tank is having little problems which caused it to discolor a bit, which is another of my worries as to if it would get back its beautiful colors ..

i previously had SC orange passion which i lost in a alk spike .. are they similar in coloration ? SC and RR ?

ill try to get a pic of mine tonite ..

orange in the polyps you mean i assume ? even in medium light ?
Ill try to get a picture quick for you. It depends what orange passion. Rrc and sc are the same, rr asia looks like a sc op and rainbowenvy/wd combined

thats what i heard :) RR Asia is what i have ..

RRC and SC are basically two colors and RRA is more of a rainbow than just blue and orange :D

The debate can go on forever but rrc and sc are the same. The frag is a growth tip of the rrc. The sc growth tip comming out has green polyps and alot of blue

The coloration is similar in ways. I like the deeper orange polyps on my RR OP but the base and coralites on the SC OP are definitely brighter IMO.

Radion G3 Pro :)

Same here. Are you running SPS AB+? :D

haha no .. i just use basic my own program ..

blues turn on at 9 ramp to 50% at 10 and 100% at 11am
whites turn on at 12 and ramp to 30% at 1 and 50% at 230 pm
whites back to 30% at 4 and 0% at 530
blues to 50% at 8 and off at 10

i should look more into that SPS AB+ program is it nice ?

Haha we both posted at the same time... My RR OP wasn't specified as being RRC or RRA just RR. I surely don't have any pink but it looks noticeably different and grows slower.
