I run both xho and regular reef brites and the spread is pretty much the same on both the only difference I noticed was the regular has a more true blue look and xho has a more blueish violet look nonetheless the colors look great from the ati 6bulb fixture I run with the reefbrite boost

Sounds good trying to get best of both world with the combo.

for those that own these light, please help comments further
is the xho comes in black and the reefbrite tech (regular) comes in white ?
are there only blue leds on them? or it has other colors (like white)?
thanks

the XHO has a black housing. the TECH has a silver housing. both come in options of natural daylight, 50/50, and actinic blue. the difference between the TECH and XHO being that the latter has more LEDs and therefore more intensity for taller tanks or where more intensity is desired.

I recently got the XHO for my 6 bulb tek light. I also got the reefbrite controller so I could fully control it with my apex. Very nice setup.

The reefbrite controller gives a read out of what % the intensity is at even when the apex is controlling the light

Where did you find that controller?
