Reefer 250

Hello fellow reefers this will be mine build thread for the Red Sea Reefer 250. It will be a slow build not in a hurry just want to do it right. I have been out of the hobby for about 6 years. I used to do installation and maintenance for fish store here in Miami FL. Plans for the tank is still up on the air thinking of just live rock, fish and very easy corals like mushrooms and such don't want to get to technical. Knowing me that will probably change down the line.

So far I have the tank, stand and sump. I also have a Reef Octopus Classic 110 SSS. One EcoTech Vortech MP10wQD and planning on a second.

I will be updating every time I get a new piece of equipment until the tank is ready for water.

Looking good. I ditched the mp10s for mp40s. 10s were falling off spinning and had to have them on high. Mp40s on 40% at max barely heAr them.

Yeah man. Got 2 mp40s now on the sides but only got one working. Turn the other one on once in a while stir it up. I been saying im going to sync them for like a year now. Just hate programming anything in Apex lol

Nice media cups. Where u get them. They fit perfect for the reefer? Do you need to slide out the tray to put them in or just drop from top?

Thanks I got them at Marine Depot and yes they fit the reefer 250 and you drop them in from the top. Beats cleaning filter socks.
