Curious to hear your opinion on this - I was told a long time ago - that the only place a tank needed to be supported is on the ends -that the corners were the only place that 'needed' support. I used to have a 90 gallon tank set on cinder blocks - only on the ends. Never had a problem .
General rule of thumb is trimmed tanks only need support at 4 corners, while trimless flat bottom glass tanks need full bottom support, but even here there are exceptions based on varying manufacturer's designs.
