Mornings, after I get my lunch made, coffee ready and Evenings after work. Midday, my hands are wet and the wetsuit drips constant. Late, if I have time after making some dinner, eat & shower.

Honestly, I don't get anything out of the emails. I don't mean to give the impression that R2R isn't captivating and important, but I check R2R probably 20 times a day whenever I have a break, so I already see new posts, my alerts to thread responses, etc... the emails really don't alert me to anything that I didn't already see throughout the day! I was trying to figure out how to shut the email functions off actually!

I check it whenever. No specific time. If I had to say a more frequent, it's late evening to late night EST.

Evenining, or night...unless I’m looking for a response or intel

honestly, it's all I can do to make it through everything in my in box as it is...

If they hit my phone during work I will most likely get side tracked - so best after 3PM Pacific.

When I'm at the office and not out of town on a project I check pretty regularly throughout the day. In the evenings I'll check when on a break while working on setting up my RS 525. When I'm out of town I check when I have internet access and time. I'm new to reefing so I try and read as much as I can to get info. Even on subjects that may not directly apply to me right now. This forum is great to get ideas.

As a nurse I work the off shift, my private time is the morning, before my 12 hour sift

Early morning or late night for me... unless I am enjoying one of the few days off I get, and then it’s all day.

Out of curiosity, why does this matter? If I get an e-mail that I am interested in and I don't have time to read or deal with it, then I just leave it (or mark it) unread and read it later on when I have time.

For me, the issue isn't what time I get the e-mail, it's the sheer number of emails I get.

I am mostly only interested in the seahorse/pipefish section. I check that almost every morning early and then again before bed.
