Return Pump Advice

Love my radion xr30w’s and mp40’s. If ecotech ever comes out with a pump that works with apex I will buy right away. Absolutely hate reeflink. Tried to like it for a week but their website and app are total crap.

Vectra’s are not Apex compatible? Good to know!

Ecotech is trying to force consumers to buy into reeflink. Some may like it but I like having everything controlled by apex. Reef link just seems so clunky to me. I really tried to like it but I just couldn't.

Apex on the other hand I love. It's just so user friendly.

I have the Sicce Syncra SDC 9.0 on my 240 and I love be it. 5 year no questions asked warranty and plenty of power! With any DC pump like this you can always turn them down on the controller and save energy as well as allow the pump to work easier. Just like everyone else in the past I put valves on my plumbing after the pump to regulate the flow but even then I had a feeling it was hard on the pump. With a DC pump you don’t have to worry about that. I bought mine right from Sicce for $290 shipped how could you pass that up. There’s plenty of places online that sell them to find your best deal.
I have the 7 on my 55 right now the pump is great and I turn the tank over maybe 15 times an hour. The only thing I don't like about it is if the house looses powere when it restarts the controller flashes unroll I unlock it. For a yours do that?

A jebao 8000 and 10000 for now. I had them setup to turn off for feeding by the apex but just leave them on for feeding now. Less wear and tear on the pumps.
I love my apex and I was also useing mine to shut my pumps down when I use my auto feeder I travel for work but now I just leave things on

Thankfully I’ve only lost power twice and both times mine went back to my regular setting. 1 time when I pulled it all apart to do my monthly cleaning it acted funny on start up but after using my phone app turning it off then back on it went back to normal.

Sicce for standard. Varios for controllable. Once the Cor has been maybe a year or so that will be my go to.

For standard there are a lot of alternatives such as danner mag drive and quiet one, ehiem and tunze.

I haven't heard good reviews about the vectra and jaebo or wavelines.

I love my Vortechs but not making vectra apex compatible is a deal breaker.

I wont buy the hydra HD lights for same reason.

I actually would prefer to have simple non controllable on off function than to deal with crappy third party apps and additional interface devices.
