Looking good! Have you thought about doing a hanging board on the wall to mount and display your ballasts? You could arrange them similar to your radions and hide the wires behind the board. I think that would look pretty cool!

I think I would be more concerned on getting water in the tank and the cycle started than messing with the lights

LOL! Yes I know but I figure once water is in it, it's going to be much harder and dangerous to work over top of it! HA!

Yes, dropping a light from four feet onto a rock is MUCH better than dropping it in the water!

Plumbing will probably be Sunday night. I have waited because I have a friend who is going to come help me.

I used a piece of finished 3/4" hardwood plyboard to make my hanging equipment board. The hardwood is stronger than regular plywood and so can support more weight without cracking. To hang the board so that it can be easily removed I used a piece of 2x4 and cut it lengthwise at a 45 degree and screwed half to the wall and the other half to the back of the plywood so that the board can hang in place via the two pieces of cut 2x4. This is call a French cleat (you can also purchase aluminum French cleat mounts but they don't give you the spacing required to run and hide wires behind the board). Then you would also bolt two small pieces of the 2x4 to the wall behind the bottom of the board to keep it evenly spaced off the wall. Two screws can then be placed thru the plywood into the 2x4 pieces to secure it to the wall. Then you would layout your ballasts and drill holes for the size grommets you want to use to hide your wires behind the board. Here is a pic of my equipment board supported by only a French cleat at the top and 2x4 blocking at the bottom.

+1 on adding T5s to the lighting. I would suggest using EZ Tube for the frame and adding 2 bulbs front and back of the Radions. I use a hybrid setup on my tank and it really helped with the shadowing as well as made the corals color up to their full potential!!
