Rising Salinity

others have said the same. How much salt is in there is how much salt is in there. It can't actually be rising if you're dosing nothing and have a stable water level.

Hanna has a solid rep. I won't argue with redundancy and a refractometer. Well, I guess I will a little. If you're gonna spend more money, I'd seriously consider an ATO. I fought it for a month, but it's the best thing you'll buy for your tank. Salinity stays rock-steady, you can actually tune your skimmer, and if there's an emergency, you can be away from the tank for a day or two, or get a friend to feed it without worry of return pump running dry and tank dying.

The fluctuations you're seeing could well be from just testing at diff times during the day when more or less water has evaporated.

nope I got a container that I just for top off water the only container that I got that is red!!
