Rising Sun vs. Thunder and Lightning

Thats correct, as far as I know the chalice I bought is the only one of all those "striped" chalices from GB, that is a 4 color chalice. The blue is much more turqouise and bright and the stripes are brighter, along with a distinct glowing eye. That said it is nothing like the Rising sun, which is in a class of its own. The CC T&L is beautiful and unique in its own way. IMO...[/QUOT

Setting sun is very sweet! It's like you took two distinct chalices and fused them into one. Very unique piece imo.

im glad with the t&l aquisition imo is a bargain price :bigsmile: for the beauty :angel: it has id like the rising sun too be in the growout but just way too much money :sad: and hardly ever available :sad:

This is a picture of the Thunder and Lightening from our growout. According to the member that bought it and is growing it out, it's very similar to the rising sun except for a slight difference in color. He's seen both first hand. Wish I had both in my tank to compare so I could put this to sleep :sad:

Hold on let me go look again. Yup there is something wrong with one of them in your friends. No disrespect to CC but the setting sun blows the T&L out of the water. The T&L is nice but nothing like the rising sun.

I'm glad Cherry named their piece T&L and not Rising Sun. I think both are nice pieces. I've been wanting a Rising Sun really bad.

T&l isnt even the same species of chalice .. Here is ian's original colony shot "hope you don't mind" look at the eyes on the rising sun compared to the t&l above...

Mike is the only one who's picture is close to real life... Rising sun has a glow that's unmistaken like a jaw breaker it just pops... Man I miss mine... I still have the skeleton in hopes of a reserection haha..:tongue:

The more I compare the two, the more distinct they are. That is a beautiful piece you have SDActuary.

The two are completely different to me. The Rising sun has a glow that is unmistakable, as you see in SDactuary picture.
