ritter6788's 75 gallon sps

Thanks guys.

What does everyone think... Rose bubble tip anemone? Yes, no?

I've always been wary of putting a nem into a pretty well established reef for fear of the nem walking around and stinging all coral in its way. Plus when they get comfortable they get huge.

I think you have the room but you may have to spend the first few days rearranging around the nem once he finds his spot.

I'm thinking of making a tank just for nems just b/c i want one too.

Everything is looking great!

I wouldn't do the RBTA, they walk and get huge.

Have you checked out some of the Rock Nems being brought in lately? They are awesome but your Clown's won't host it.

I love the red zoas in the front!

Me too! I wish they all grew like that. I have some really nice ones but they are buried in the blue polyps.

Gonna name it Nem-N-nem?

No but thanks for the suggestion. :xd:

Thanks guys. You talked me out of the nem for now.

I had a rock nem for a little while in my son's tank but I ended up getting rid of it after it got caught in the filter intake. It healed up nicely but I didn't want to risk it in my sps tank.

The only reason I'm considering a BTA in this tank is the blue cloves are taking over everything anyway. I have a few nice sps colonies that I don't want to lose but the next time the cloves take out one of my sps I'm probably going to throw my hands in the air and add the BTA. I already have 2 in a frag tank but one I'm not happy with the color and the other doesn't look healthy and stays hidden most of the time.

I'll see what MACNA has to offer. :)

I got a clam from MACNA! A big one. I like the contrast of the dark and light blues. This is right after I added it to the tank so I'll get better pics once I'm home when the lights are on and it's expanded.

Sweet clam! Pretty big huh?

Thanks everyone!

It's almost as big as my hand Rev. I'll try to get a FTS soon so it's in better perspective.

Skinz, this one was $170. The guy in front of me bought one for $300. I didn't get a good look at it but it was a dark colored one with an unusual pattern maybe black/gold teardrop.

Looks great!!!

Beautiful clam! Can't wait to see it opened up...

I don't think the clam will open while your holding it

I like the tank! What are the red zoas with the green mouth?

That clam spits water like a Maxi Jet 1200. :xd:

The big colony in the front was sold to me as Lord of the Rings palys. I'm not very good at coral names so I'm not sure if they are or not. There's really a ton of zoas in there but you can't see them all because they are buried in the blue clove polyps.
