Phoenix water is hard also as well as very high TDS, between 500 and 1200+. I use softened water plus a booster pump even though I have 68 psi at the tap to help improve the membranes performance.

Wow! That is some nasty tap! Bet house plants thrive though! Our water was even cleanish in my dirty old apartment
