Is there a diagram showing whish port on the membrane housing goes to waste and which is good product water? Or does it matter so long as the good product has the check valve!

Thanks for all the input so far guys
Waste water will always be the linen out of the membrane with the faster flow, clean RO water will be a lot less flow out.

Lol if hes been bitten then ive been swallowed. I have 2 x 9 stage. My city used chloramine and I have sediment filter then 2 stages of catalytic Carbon then 2 stages of chlorplusguard then 2 x 75 gpd membrane plus 2 di.

I saw an older thread on reef central where the guy was using a 4"x 20" chlorguardplus with good results. IIRC it was 1 micron prefilter, 20" big blue, 2 regular sized carbons, booster pump, 2 75 gpd RO membranes, then 2 mixed DI. He claimed 2+ years on the carbon blocks before breakthrough of chloromines.
