Look on page 8-9 of any Spectrapure owners manual and it explains it. All their manuals are online at the bottom left of their main webpage.

Yes they are standard size. If replacing the membrane or even if keeping the existing membrane I recommend a capillary tube flow restrictor and take the few minutes to trim and adjust it for your water conditions. Fixed type restrictors are rarely correct.

Sacré Dieu! If you can use a pair of scissors, you can trim a flow restrictor.......no French necessary. n'est-ce pas ?

No scissors! They smash and crimp the tube. Use a new sharp razor blade. I believe Spectrapure also has a video on how to properly adjust a restrictor in their video and technical section.
