Rock anemone sleep?

I introduced 2 rock anemones yesterday. And i woke up and they are super shrinked. Like super tiny. Do they shrink when lights off? Is that normal?

Are they open during the daytime? This is pretty normal behavior for an anemone since they will extend out to receive light, but at night they will retract in for protection since there is no light.

Rock anemones take time to adjust in new water conditions so give some time to it. It will find its place where it want to live. Feed it once or twice a week. It's my personal experience

I just got them yesterday and they attacked to the rocks. Today woke up and they are extremelt shrinked. And im kinda worried my lights are on full intensity. Not sure whats going on. U can barely see it.

I have hermit krabs, and a cleaner shrimp yeah. Are they dead?

Put meaty food on its mouth and keep a watch as your shrimp will try to snatch it

Put small pieces as your anemone is shrinking. It may eat or may not. If it eats then it is fine

If it gets healthy, feed it only 2-3 times a week as it needs time to digest

Your RFA is fine do not mess with it, needs time to “settle in”

my two RFA will shrivel to 1/10th their size at night and open again during the day. I have found mine looooove a big squirt of reef roids
