The only problem with them on rock is once they are secured and happy you won't have a hope in hell of moving it if needed. particularly if your rock is all glued together like mine.
I have more low flow options at mid-level than bottom level, so that's good to know. Did you need to acclimate it to the higher lighting? I'm worried I won't be able to easily move them if I start them lower in the tank.I have 2 in my tank, one on the bottom attached to a large shell and one mid-way up attached to plug. Either haven't moved so they must be happy.
