Rock Flower Downsides?

What’s the target range nitrates for them to thrive? I realize there will always be some that do well with different parameters depending on the tank. But is there a target range most people agree upon?

Not sure why but mine always perish. I've got acans, sps, leathers, blastos, rbta, Monti, stylo, chalice, etc... But I can't keep rfa alive, also can't keep zoa's alive

I like to give them a large snail shell to live in which I then glue to a rock. Now I can move them around if necessary without damaging their sensitive feet.
Same as using pvc end caps.

My nitrates are sky high blood red on api phosphates are 0.25. Last I checked

But ideal is nitrates 10-20 phosphates. 0.1-0.2

Thats rough. We all have that one coral

This would not be ideal for my situation. I have a pistol that is constantly rearranging my sandbed. I feel like any bottom Dwellers will suffer from his construction eventually.

If you put them on rocks with small holes they will sink their feet in holes and stay nicely glued at same spot. They need medium to low light, do not sting ... do not grow too big. ... really all good stuff ...

The onoy down is that puffers and angels can take bites ... i had return my blue spot toby puffer ...

And they do not propagate as quickly... so those whonwajted sell/ trade may not like rfa as much ..

I have 8 and i want more!

Mine is Xenia
I burned my xenia in a peroxide dip because their rubble island was covered in GHA. Accidentally left them too long. All that was left were nubs. Left the rock in the tank and did nothing and now have 3 xenia trees about an inch tall.

Beautiful!!!!!! My tank is too small for those fish I’m good there!!

Wonderful color diversity. I do try to drop flake on the ones I can reach with Julian's Thing. Those that get fed have the best colors and get to be larger than those that don't, sans one. He's a monster, probably a diameter of 4 to 6". He's in a great spot to catch food, I suspect. But he's very hard to see.

The fact that they tend to find their own home makes them a bit pesky. None of ours, we have five, really found great places where they can be fully appreciated by the people sacrificing their hard earned cash and time to keep them happy. Ha!

One did up and kill an entire Zoa colony... So there's that.

It's Friday and I am wishing the work day away thinking about some future additions I would like to see in my tank down the road. I'm looking to stock forgiving inhabitants and softies. So far my only experience is with GSP and leathers.

I'm really drawn to the look of rock flower nems. Having never had any, can people weigh in some pros and cons. difficulty level etc. Do's and don'ts...... would my tank even support them?
Tank is a Biocube 32 with sock lighting (not planning on upgrading). Over a year old.

Hit my with your knowledge!

Thanks!
I love mine. I have a nano 5g. I haven't had any trouble with the lighting. It has moved twice but not disturbed anything else.
