Rodi problems

Well that’s not bad. Can you repack the DI resin to reduce the gas bubbles, channelling. Pack it in, nice and tight.
I tried that twice now packed it solid no gaps nothing and this is how it always ends up after using it once, even when I bought it it came pre packed the same way I do it now and the same thing happened. I was wondering though is it suppossed to have foam on top and bottom as I have seen the canister on there website and it has 2 foams but mine only came with one

I was wondering if that might cause a problem as it shifts the di when the pressure goes through it

It has one at the bottom, which just stops it dropping, and one at the top which stops It progressing. It will have no detrimental effect though. If your inputting 5tds into a resin, correctly packed, and getting a poor return, the resin is crap.

Do you have a drinking water storage tank hooked up to your ro? If yes, is the di stage also fed from the pressurized tank? If so, it might be tds creep, although your are burning resin pretty fast.. hmmm

Found the problem too much pressure going through the di canister was depleting the resin
Great you found problem and hopefully solved it.
Just out curiousity how you come to that conclusion and how you solve it ?
Restricted the flow into it somehow I guess ?

Hi I messed about with all the tubing and extended it into the di canister and also made the tubing from the tap to the booster pump longer and it lower the pressure into the unit

Ok great stuff, fingers crossed for you that your resin and all the rodi unit works more efficiently now ^^^
