Rod's vs. Rogger's

My point is look at the list of ingredients, Besides aloe, there is nothing in there that could possibly be some magical cure for ich. Heck besides the Aloe, Rods has everything that Roggers has. I have had two ich outbreaks in 6 years. This was before I ever fed Rods. I had a purple tang and Blue hippo that were covered in it and just sitting on the bottom of the tank. I never lost a fish and the only thing I did was ramp up my feedings. That is a HUUUUGE leap you are taking with your conclusion that Roggers cures ich.

I never said that "the food cured the ich"...just stating facts that I have seen a couple tanks that ich was stopped while switching to Roggers food. I will say that switching to Rogger's food did help cure the ich. (There is my statement for you to take!) And I'm pretty sure the fresh garlic also helps with ich. Obviously we will agree to disagree and like anything else in this hobby something will work for me and something else will work for you!

It's a miracle....... the foods are basically identical. Not sure how u can make such a crazy statement. LOL. What foods were these fish being fed before? Pellets/flakes?

I would agree with this if you say Taco Bell is basically identical to Chipolte.

edit...I guess this may be a harsh statement and it may be flawed since I do not know the full extent of Rod's food...but I'm going to refer to the fact that (I believe) everything Rogger's food uses comes from Publix (other than obvious fish items like cyclopeze) makes me choose to use it. Like I said before...If the quality of food is good enough for human's than it should be extra good for fish!

I use Rogger in my store and is very good food because have no preservative and have diferent size of food . The anthias and chromis go very crazy when i feed whit rogger. when i open the pacqage the food smell very actually so good that you think that is human food.

This is my comment about this food.

Roggers Rocks!
He came to one of our ORCA club meetings and prepared a batch in front of us. After hearing about the quality, research and effort he has put into his product over the years, it is hard to imagine a product that could compare.
Although we have only used Rod's a few times, there seemed to be a correlation with increased algae blooms (maybe just using too much). It seemed to break up quickly compared to Rogger's.
We notice that the binder that Rogger uses really works well to keep it together for both hand feeding and clip feeding. Overall, we think that they are both great products, but we are sticking with Rogger's.
