Room for one more?

Hmmm because one of them and a shrimp goby combo sounds pretty sweet. My rockwork is pretty minimalist so id probably throw in another piece to add an extra place to hide.
Yeah that is what I had to do. Or what I did was remove rock and replaced it with something pieced together that has a cave. Keep in mind the cherub will be more dominant and therefore would want the larger space. Even though my cherub is only 2-2.5in. he/she still prefers the larger cave. So make sure that spot is available prior to adding the fish. If adding the cherub, just make sure the gramma is happy to give up his spot if need be.

My grammas spot is not large enough for a full grown angel

looks like they both get about 3"
If I remember correctly, 3 inch cherubs are rare. Female cherubs are about 2 inches. Though its difficult to sex them. Now I've seen some large grammas before.

I'm not a professional when it comes to cherubs. What I do know is these are the most reef safe compared to other pygmy angels. I was nervous at first too but after obsessively monitoring this fish, he only goes for algae growing on the rocks. I've seen my cherub swim up to my acros and stylos just looking but no biting. Mine does occasionally nip at the stem of my toadstool leather. However, I think it's because of phyto and some other algaes. No noticeable damage. Oh BTW they need plant based foods supplemented with normal feedings. Nori or spirulina algae is what I use.
