Hard to say cause I don't know the size of it. I would get the biggest container I could fit in the space or go with a reactor. You'll also need an overflow of some sort to feed it as well.

I went with the 12 gallon fits under there i have and I have an over flow and a pump already that I used to have all I need is the plumbing which I was going to ask what kind of pvc glue can I use ?

So I got out my ehobs over flow out
Doing the plumbing in the reef tank
The stupid hose did not fit had to use pvc on it 1”
I am not great with plumbing but I think I am doing a good job I am using the clear cement
And let’s see how it goes !!!
Just scared acing I touched the water and had pvc in my hands

Finally done the box is under barely fit

Done with the plumbing just letting it cure did not rinse the PVC pipes doe.
Just with the market showing u guys what I am planing to do where the red is I made some lines on the pvc so that the water could flow down to the box.
I am going to fill up the 12 gallon tub with 10 gallons of water
Water line should be where the white marker is
Where the green is I am going to cut a egg crate peace and glue it to the box with some gorilla super glue gell that stuff won’t break for anything
Where the blue is an egg crate separater will be put and in the space my aqua urchin pro will be there with the return pump.
Where the yellow is I will have some live rock with cheats growing want to fill all that space with cheato to grow lots of it.
Will be using a light with a clamp with a 6500k
100 watt bulb to grow it what do u guys think ? Should I improve or move anything ?

looks good I just finished converting a 20gal into a sump with refugium. I wish I had the space under my stand to place it

I am going to have to place it beside my tank

I would love to see how ur setup is coming along, and well I barely made mine fit as it was super hard had to cut off sides from the container.

I tested last night the pipes but one last test would not hurt

but I’ll do tomorrow the test when the water drops if I see anything I’ll have to resemble everything apart

Here it is. I did a crappy job with the silicone there are a few leaks i’m going to have to go over again. But the sump is going to replace my wet dry filter. Im going to build a little cabinet for the sump to be in later on that way it is not out in plain sight and hopefully prevent my little nephew from throwing things into it

that’s why i have the clear plastic wrap covering it.

nice idea with the rap my little boy has done so many horrible things to my tank even with lids

but he means no harm as he wants to do what he sees me doing on the tank. he thinks he is making water changes

My sump has been running for two days and is good !!!
Today I put in basket with a bulb I wanted to know if I could grow ccheato with this ? Also I dropped the basket with the bulb on the sump accidentally will I leach anything into the tank ?
