@BigRich I recommend you continue dosing metro into the QT. If the fish starts eating, try soaking metro in the fish food and also use Seachem Focus to bind the medication.
Latest Update:
Since the initial dosing of metro in the water the clownfish has continued to improve greatly. 48hrs after the initial dose of metro the clownfish began eating. Once I saw this I immediately started treating the food with metro/focus and seachem garlic guard. The clownfish both ate it up! So now almost 72hrs later the clownfish's breathing/behavior are all back to normal. My question is how long should I continue to treat the food with metro? I can't really find any concrete answer on how long treatment should last. Hopefully you/someone can guide me how long of a treatment you would give. Once again thanks for everyone helping with ideas/etc. I really wanted to follow up with posts so that other users can see what happened and that it is possible to save a fish, who looked absolutely hopeless.
