Running Ozone through my Ultra Reef 180 ?

The Ultra Reef skimmers can be used with ozone, but expect to have to replace the black adapter that connects the airline tubing to the Venturi intake. This part will degrade over time and I believe we have them in stock but they are not listed on the website yet. As the US distributor, we try to keep many of the parts, pumps, impellers in stock. Click the link to view all of the Ultra Reef products we distribute. Also, if we every run out and you need something fast, we can air ship parts in from Ultra Reef.

I’m battling a very bad dino outbreak for 5-6 months and I heard the ozone might make Dino worse so I might wait.

The acrylic will be fine the nylon parts wear out I run a commercial ozotech and have to replace the barb coming out of the unit at least once a year. And the tubing about as often. My old mrc skimmers have been running ozone 2o years And are still kicking
