Well ladies and gentlemen,

I had my first full on tank explode.... Not sure why... been running 3 months 50gal low boy. ;Sorry:(

Took a few hours to clean up with a large shop vac and a shampooer, 3 box fans!

Wow that sucks! My worst nightmare is for my tank/tanks to flood my finished basement! Was the stand it was setting on even and level?

Yes This tank sat nice and flush on the stand, this part of my basement only had a crawl space so it ok to flood down there..

That sucks...brb, I'm gonna go check the level on my low boy again...;Nailbiting

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. " Your not a true reefer unless you have problems, you just gotta keep on, keeping on!"

At least the rest of the frag system I was able to keep it running or we would have had even more problems... Just about to kick off my coral business too... looks like it will have to go hold for a bit while I source a new tank and make some adjustments to the system...

Ever figure out why it broke?
Was the tank used or did you buy it new?

Bought brand new. Do not see anything obvious that could have caused it. Im think maybe a chip when manufactored or a stray piece of glass and over time the pressure caused the failure... this just happened about 6 hrs ago...
