Bought brand new. Do not see anything obvious that could have caused it. Im think maybe a chip when manufactored or a stray piece of glass and over time the pressure caused the failure... this just happened about 6 hrs ago...

Dang that bites. Think you’ll be able to get it replaced?

Zoomed and yes they are cheaply made..

There are 4 ways to get a crash like that.
1. A grain of sand between the tank and the stand.
2. Uneven stand with a point standing up against the glass.
3. Glass against glass = wrong manufacturing process.
4. A stroke against the botton glass in the manufacturing or transport or at the shop or at home.

I contacted the store where i purchased and they are willing to exchange the tank for me. So hopefully its here for the long haul.
